The boat was ulphostered in 1999, all joinery was varnished in 2001, Engine had a top overhaul in winter 2002. This boat is stiff and weatherly with a gentle motion at sea and still has a very goog turn of speed. The Melody is one of the more famous Jeanneau designs with nearly 500 being built. El Dorado is a solidly built sloop. In the last 3 years she has been completely upgraded with all the necessary navigation and safety equipment incl new engine, Sails, rigging. Very comfortable cruiser. The price has been reduced from ?54,500 to ?45,000. She is seriously for sale and worth viewing.
