The Hallberg-Rassy 29 is according to many one of their most beautiful designs. Its high sharp bow is as high as modern 36 foot yachts giving the boat a fantastic side profile and power to drive the boat through waves. The boat was designed by the legendary Swedish yacht designers Olle Enderlein and the founder of Hallberg-Rassy boat yard Christoph Rassy. The design has so many great innovations, looks like there must have been some wonderful debates perfecting the design. It was first introduced in 1982. 571 yachts were produced in 14 years. This good example of the popular Hallberg Rassy 46 has been in her current ownership since new in 1995. She has been lightly used and well maintained, being carefully laid up each winter under cover. The sailing performance is excellent. The rudder reacts almost without any delay when steering and you get the feel of a considerably lighter boat. There is hardly a comparable saloon that breathes such a generous feel. Here you have elbow space without end. All in all the new HR 43 fulfils the high expectations she carries.
