This rig was custom built by Carbospars it has a carbon mast with electric winchs for Halyard genoa adjustment. The wing keel which was custom designed by Ian Howlett of Americas cup fame was built by Iron Bros. in the uk. Performance on all points of sail is increased. Full boom bag. A bimini that runs over the cockpit provides a hugh shade area and is able to be up in 30knot winds. After the decks were replaced a full winter canvas cover protects the boat. Mastervolt isolated transformers. Power management on board is very easy with deep cycle 2volt batteries on a 24volt system and inverter for both 110/220volt. A retractable Maxpower bowthruster makes manovering into tight berths a simple procedure for two onboard. This custom aerorig boat has had full time crew and as a result has been kept to virtually new condition. Her decks were replaced in 2005 which included all hatch openings and portlights. Her galley has been upgraded with new fridges and cooker. The Areorig on this boat makes sailing a pleasure and shorthanded sailing easy. With a large ensuite owners cabin and 2 forward guest cabins that sleeps three and crew quarters she will accomadate upto 10 persons. Sail performance on this boat has to be experienced to truly appreciate the areorig advantages, acceleration and one sheet handling on electric winches make for ease in powering up or down in all wind conditions. The hydraulic transom allows storage and opens out as a swim platform.
