"SCANDAR" AFT COCKPIT, FIN & SKEG BLUE WATER CRUISER WITH SIX BERTH EX SALOON & BERMUDAN CUTTER RIG. Scandar is a custom built blue water cruiser taken off a Ted Hood design from ex Tyler moulds. She was completed to a very high standard by her owner and has proved herself well by sailing some 25,000 miles of blue water since then. She has cruised to Norway, Ireland, Spain, Portugal and had a three year tour of the Atlantic islands including Trinidad and the other Caribbean islands. Scandar has a well thought out layout both above and below decks with plenty of stowage, wide decks and a deep bilge. This boat is finished in the light wood finish making the boat bright and airy. Very nice club racer with potential for good racing. Anchor chain and warp, Mooring Lines and Fenders, Stanchions and Life lines, Teak slats in cockpit seating. Navigation Lights. Large double berth configuration with 2 single berths in saloon and double forward. Very Clean boat which has been well maintained. Cooker, GPS, Wind Instruments were all replaced in 2007. Multi display at Chart Table. Ducted for heating but requires new Eberspacher unit. Diesel heating tank in place. All standing rigging, mast, boom, headsail furler, McWilliam Headsail and folding prop were all replaced in 2005. "Java" is very bright and airy inside, with a large aft cabin for this size boat. This boat is in good condition and worth viewing.
