In late 2006 CARITAS was offered to us for sale by her then owners. She was in particularly good condition having been carefully maintained and updated, we sold her to the present owner very quickly. "EXCALIBUR" AFT COCKPIT THREE CABIN CRUISER. The Westerly Merlin was one of the early three cabin cruisers and has a remarkable amount of room for a boat of this length and era. They have a good layout with plenty of stowage and most of the controls are led back to the cockpit making them easily handled by a small crew. Excalibur has been very well looked after over the years being professionally maintained and wintered ashore every year. As a bilge keeler she is ideally suited to East Coast cruising and really is a very nice example of the class. Well worth viewing.
