"CRISPIN" AFT COCKPIT CUTTER RIGGED BLUE WATER CRUISER WITH 5/6 BERTHS IN TWO CABINS. The Vancouver 32 has an excellent reputation as a superb blue water cruiser equally at home in local waters. The accommodation is well thought out with many separate stowage lockers, good sea berths and a pleasant traditional style. On deck they are again well though out and very easily handled by a small crew, particularly in Crispins case as all control lines are led back to the cockpit. Crispin has a good inventory and has been well used with many pleasant miles under her keel including a round Britain under her present ownership. She has proved to be a safe and seaworthy vessel but is now for sale as her owner is looking to purchase a larger vessel. This is an excellent vessel and worth viewing.
This is a unique opportunity to acquire a traditionally styled centre cockpit yacht with good sea keeping qualities, high specification and modern equipment. Shoal draft capabilities, bowthruster and new spars and sails including in-mast furling main make this an ideal choice for short handed sailing and blue water cruising. A professional 6 year major refit has just been completed to a high standard so early viewing is highly recommended. Engine and control panel were both new when professionally installed by Volspec in 1999 and have only been used for sea trials since in 2006. During her current ownership 'October Girl' has undergone a major refit which began in 1999 and was completed in 2006. This included the hull being sandblasted and epoxy treated, topsides and superstructure repainted and all external woodwork replaced or revarnished. Many fixtures and fittings were also replaced along with the masts, booms, furling systems, rigging, sails, electrical and gas installations, instrumentation, engine, water and fuel tanks, shaft, propeller, windows, pushpit, pulpit and rubbing strake. In addition she has been updated with a holding tank, bowthruster and electric windlass fitted and her interior has had new upholstery, curtains, headlinings, furniture, cooker and sink.
