Freebird was purchased in 1997 from the South coast. She is believed to have spent around 4 years racing on the South Coast until she was laid up ashore. The second owner purchased her in August 2004. The current (third) owner purchased her in February 2005 as the second owner was moving abroad with his job. The current owner has carried out extensive upgrades and replaced equipment as and when required. Sail No GBR 1371R. Year Built 1997, Hull No 30. IRC 0.979 (2008)
